I haven’t done one of these in while. So it’s about time for another confession…
Sometimes I consider going off Facebook. But I worry about feeling disconnected. (Notice I said “feeling” disconnected.) I also wonder what I will do with the free time, and consequentially how I will kill time when I’m looking to kill time and there’s an internet connection.

I’ve closed my Facebook account at least 3 times in the last 5 years. It takes so much time! People stopped communicating directly with me and would start every sentence with “I don’t know if you saw on my Facebook page, but…” They’re learning to call and email me again if they want me to know something. And I like that so much more!
Way to go! I think I would prefer that so much better. Sometimes I think the only thing I get out of Facebook is, like I said, just wasting my time– when I could be connecting with people in much more meaningful ways. That being said I love the links so of my friends post that I might not come across in other ways.
DO IT!
You’ll keep in touch with friends who you really care about regardless if you have FB or not. Plus, you’ll find that your time is much well spent when you do have free time and have internet!
Remember how I was always worried about mentally being HERE, well since I’ve escaped the FB net, I really do feel like I’m HERE and spending less time worrying about what I’m physically missing out on (which isn’t a good way to think in these last months).
Test it out for a week… or a month! You can always go back :)
thinking about it… maybe December is the time to do it!
how has it been without Facebook? We need to find a way to keep our Spanish lessons going!
Hasta pronto!
Yes! You can email me, Jimmy has my email. I’d rather not post it here. Also I’m updating my blog now so people can know what I’ve been up to and see pictures.
Hasta Luego!
